Yes - A visa is required for travel to Saudi Arabia

Applicants for a religious visa must apply through a licensed travel agency.


Medical Requirements:

New York: Three copies of the applicant's medical report are required. The medical report must be issued by a licensed physician who must sign each copy and must certify that the applicant is free of any contagious disease, including tests for Hep A, B, and C. The license number and address of the physician should appear on each copy. Medical reports should be used within three months from the date of issuance. Children under the age of sixteen do not need a medical report.

Additionally, If you are Muslim and traveling to Jeddah or Medina airport, you must provide a vaccination card showing proof of Meningitis vaccine.


Special Instructions:

Each applicant for a religious visa must apply through a licensed travel agency which must present the Consulate with copies of "Accommodation Contacts" and a letter to the religious ministry in Saudi Arabia confirming that the travel agency has duly completed all requirements to qualify to assist applicants.

Note: All required Saudi documents the traveler’s name appears on, MUST match the passport exactly.
